A.R Bernard meeting

Last evening, was given the opportunity to attend Dr A.R Bernard meeting with the leaders. Although I was not a CGC, Amber gave me this chance to sit in for this meeting. The meeting was great, as Dr A.R Bernard preached about Renewal. 1 point he preached about captivated me, which was going Back to the Basics, which means not doing the extraordinary things but the ordinary ones extraordinarily.
Before the meeting started, Amber talked to me about the voting between her and Regina on Facebook. I didn't took a stand for either side and it showed my faithfulness. God says Be Faithful in the Little Things and not of the big ones, then later on Dr A.R Bernard also preached the same message and it reminded me of the past when I was faithful in the little things which now I kind of neglected.
Hopefully, from now onwards I'll be even more faithful in doing the little things and I pray that God you are the one who directs my path and guide me along.

Here Is Love

Just ended the event: "Here Is Love". It was one of the best we've ever had, it was very relaxing and everyone knew what they had to do. Many friends turned up and I believe their hearts were all deeply touched by the various testimonies and the word of God that was preached. I really found it true that everyone of us, we have God-shaped holes inside of us which nothing and no one could replace only God thats why everyone needs God in their lives. After today, I feel a faith increase in my spiritual walk with God and I would like to thank him for the band Awaken. Seow Shi also gave me a bookmark with encouraging words which I appreciate a lot and I believe that and decided that I'm going to work towards my desire no matter what and not give up. Was also talking to Elvis about his relationship problem and his walk with God, I believed that God has used me to encourage him and motivate him at this point of time, really believe that he's able to come back to God and start to serve Him... More breakthroughs to come for me! Praise the Lord!

P.S This is not an emotional post but one that will remind me and motive me to keep me going.

This will be my first post of my spiritual diary, I've been pondering to myself for quite sometime what is this word, LOVE all about. Its a simple word yet so difficult to understand. The meaning to the word is so deep and intense that no other word can comprehend it. Just recently, on 20/6/2010 I was asked to step down from a role as a CGC, I guess because I've not been faithful in the little things and have not truly shown love to my members and love for the lost. Knowing myself, I'm not a really loving person as I find it hard to step up and approach people with love, care & concern even though I want to. I guess its something that I've to breakthrough from.

Desiring to become a CGL was even tougher than I thought. I guess its not my time yet unless I really start pressing into God, loving him wholeheartedly which I feel as a child of his, I've not been doing so. All my life I thought of myself as a person who can't do great things in life looking at the people around me always excelling in the areas way better than me, thus when I came to church and felt that I could do something I decided to stay and in turn it became my spiritual family.

At this point of time, I'm still thinking and praying whether to really step up and serve God more again as I'm offered to attend a CGC class for those interested in becoming a CGC. Jesus guide me in your ways. Amen.

Sentosa Outing

Went to Sentosa last Saturday with Cell-group members. Got Sunburnt and even buried in the sand! It was fun fun fun! Let the pictures do the talking

Happy 2010!

Its my first post of the New Year and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Had countdown at Chin Ming's place with Subzone members and we did steamboat, it was great!!! We also Yum-seng to a new year ahead! 2009 has been an awesome year and I believe 2010 will be a greater one, its a new year with new resolutions, new goals, new visions and everything new for greater things have yet to come, greater things are still to be done!

Christmas Christmas Christmas!

Christmas is coming and I'm so excited for it. I've been singing Christmas songs all day long because its the season to be Jolly! I just love the Christmas spirit and I believe that this Christmas would be a very AWESOME one!

Not forgetting to catch our Christmas Candlelight Services and Christmas Services! Candlelight service has always fascinated me because its just too beautiful with all the candles and our Christmas service Drama titled "A Christmas Love Story", I believe it'll be a very fun and impacting one too! Camp Believe!

Camp Believe just ended not too long ago and all I can say is, AWESOME! Everything was great! Great Praise & Worship, Great Word, Great Presence of God, Great Cheers and Performances and Great Fun & Games!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank God for giving me this chance to lead a group, VIKINGS! It has been such a pleasure to lead this group of special Vikers!(Some pictures of Team Viking below)
