Results results!

My results of my first year in Republic Polytechnic were out today, and here is the table of my results!

And my overall GPA is 3.1 for Year 1! I was so worried that I would get a GPA below 3 however, I got a 3.1, Praise the Lord! Thank God for the results, and I'll work harder for better results!

Emerge: Back to school!

Hello everyone! This coming Friday, 20th February 2009, my church is organizing EMERGE and the theme for it is BACK TO SCHOOL!

Come in your very own school uniforms, or student-like dress ups, because we're all going BACK TO SCHOOL!!! Get ready youths for a wonderful and fun time of music, the word of God, and this time there will even be a drama! Dear friends out there who wants to join me this Friday, please contact me in any form possible!

Prayer Meetings

Hi everyone! This past week has been a tiring yet a fruitful one because our church had our morning and evening prayer meetings and Praise The Lord that I attended every single one of the morning prayer meetings and 3 of the evening ones! Indeed the bible states that the spirit is willing yet the flesh is weak, however, after every morning prayer meeting I felt refreshed. Well, I felt that after the past 5 days I've really became a better Christian and God has already answered some of my prayers, Hallelujah! Hoping for more morning prayer meetings to come!

W15A Class BBQ

Few days back we had our W15A class BBQ. It was kind of disappointing because not everybody turned up, only a few were there. Well, it was still fun and we even get to witness the very bright moon! Took a few pictures with the moon, as it was really bright round and beautiful!

Ancient Chinese & God?

Pastor Kong preached about the linkages between God and the Ancient Chinese that are embedded in the chinese language just a few weeks back, and the word he shared was amazing and it impacted me. Here are some sources of what he preached.

iWorship 101

Just a few hours back, I attended Brother Poh's worship class called iWorship 101. Brother Poh is a very annoited guitarist and song leader in our church and he shared with us about how to be a good guitarist and worship leader. I'm very amazed at how great his guitar skills were, and even more inspired now to learn how to play the guitar and lead Cell Group into a great time of Praise & Worship. Next week, there will be another class, and I'm looking forward to it already, because today's was great! Those who are interested to know more about today, just feel free to ask me, I'll be more then willing to share to you!

In order to start to play the guitar, I first must have a guitar! Sad to say that I've only an Classical guitar and not an Acoustic guitar. Well, I just have to keep praying that 1 day, I'll have my own Acoustic guitar.

How to save a life

Last week of the Semester

Finally, its the last week of the semester and after this week will be officially term break! This was what happened during the week.

Day 1
It was Communication module and our facilitator, Kieren, told us that we need not bring our laptops to school that day and we'll be ending lessons at 130pm. He started off the lesson with a game! Pictures during the game...







After that we went for our breakout and 1 hour later we came back to play our next game which was an outdoor activity. It was like the amazing race but it involves what we've learnt in the previous lessons, and it was fun!





The person circled in red is my facilitator, I will miss his lessons as he always do something special during his lessons and everyday he offers the class sweets. Just want to thank Kieren for his patience and understanding in guiding the class.


Day 2
It was our Cognitive module and our facilitator was Justina! Lesson ended early at 130pm and we did not have to do the worksheet, woohoo! Justina is the lady circled in red in the picture below, although she's kind of weird but she's very funny and never fails to make me laugh, thank you for your guidance these past weeks, I'll miss Teddy Monkey!




Day 3
Had Maths module and we did nothing special, lesson were as per normal just that there were lesser people around and we did not take any pictures. Overall, lesson was boring.


Day 4
It is Enterprise Module and our facilitator was Carol Danker! Well, it has been a fun 16 weeks of Enterprise lessons and Carol is one of my favourite facilitators. Lesson was great, Carol even bought us a Secret Recipe Cake named Chocolate Indulgence and it weighed about 2kg? Enterprise lessons have always been fun, therefore, today there was no exception. Thanks Carol for the cake, and your interesting lessons throughout the weeks!
